I’m so not a tech savvy person so I don’t know if this is possible… can it maybe be everyone is considered opted out unless you opt in and then are the members able to put the pin on the map for themselves? Just to maybe get it in a general vicinity but not necessarily even city or address?
Like others have said, depends on how specific the location is. I’m okay with nearest city. Say if you are able to automatically pull the largest city within 100 miles from the billing/shipping address of the user.
I also like Keith’s idea of opt out being a default. The main reason people would likely want to have this feature is to meet up with other members. If that’s something they want to do, they can go put their pin in.
As long as it’s not a pin on my exact address and just the general city I’m ok with it.

Well, google ai says this isn’t possible to add our own pins without the possibility of others moving them. So, it would I guess be honor system
